Quilting and Embroidery Services

How quickly will I get my quilt back?

Turnaround time will depend on where you are in the queue. I will try to give you an idea upon intake of when to expect your quilt. Usually, it should be within 2-3 weeks of intake. If it will be longer, you will be notified via your preferred contact method to discuss. Shipping will be via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, whichever you prefer. Insurance for $100 is included in shipping. If you need the item insured for more, we will discuss before shipping. Shipping charges will be included on your invoice.

Can I do a special order?

Yes! If it is possible for Tallgal Studios to accomodate your request we will be more than happy to!

Are items listed in your shop made and ready to ship?

Yes. Unless otherwise indicated as a sample with color swatches also shown for options.

Are the quilts for sale made by you?

Yes! The quilts listed are pieced and quilted by me entirely. The quilts have Hobbs 80/20 batting in them unless otherwise noted.

Do you dye your own fabric?

Yes, I use PFD fabric and dye colorways in small batches. Each piece is unique and most likely not repeatable, exactly, but an approximation may be possible. The fabrics have been washed as much as possible to remove any residual dye from the process. Fabrics that have had tjaps for batiking applied are also rinsed several times to remove the wax from the process.
